Sybase Embeds IMSL® Library Functions in RAP – The Trading Edition to Provide Built-in Time Series Analysis
New OEM Partnership between Sybase and Visual Numerics®
NEW YORK, NY – SIFMA Conference – June 23, 2009 – Today, Visual Numerics, Inc., part of Rogue Wave Software, and a leading producer of advanced numerical analysis and visualization software announced an OEM partnership with Sybase, an industry leader in delivering enterprise and mobile software. As part of the OEM partnership, Sybase is embedding multiple IMSL Library time series analysis functions into Sybase® RAP – The Trading Edition™ Enterprise, a unified market analytics platform that lets capital markets firms make more intelligent, efficient use of data for better analytics, decisions and reporting across the front-to-back office trade lifecycle.

By embedding the time series analysis capabilities, Sybase also provides RAP users with the ability to do all this with a single platform, eliminating the challenges inherent in integrating multiple vendor solutions.
